LexisNexis Academic provides access to thousands of foreign news sources. Try simple searches and then browse through the "sources by category" to find articles and news transcripts from sources around the world.
If you don't have a topic yet or you have selected a topic but want some background info, CountryWatch may be helpful. You'll find it on the Library's Research Databases page.
CountryWatch will give you a lot of info. It usually presents info from oldest to newest, so try looking towards the bottom of sections and pages to get the most current info.
