OneSearch is really what it's name implies, one place to search for many different kinds of sources, including; books, eBooks, academic articles, news articles, videos, and more!


OneSearch Search Tips:

  • 2-5 keywords often work well
  • Take advantage of the filters on the left of your results list
  • Change the keywords in your searches - think synonyms or related words!
    • Example #1: generative artificial intelligence, generative AI, GenAI
    • Example #2: education, college, university, school, students, teaching, etc.

 

OneSearch tips for literature research:

  1. Put the title of the novel or poem in quotation marks and then the author's last name 

Example: "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" Twain

  1. Try adding one of the terms below to either the author's last name or title to get more specific results:

Analysis, Criticism, Interpretation

 

Remember to take advantage of the limiters on the left of your search results to narrow your results.
