ENGL C1001 - Professor Blunk (Fall 2025): State and Local Laws (2025)

What Should I Do on This Page?

In 2024, California lawmakers passed (and Governor Newsom signed) more than 100 bills; many of those (as well as bills from previous years) will become new laws and are scheduled to take effect after Jan. 1, 2025.

The resources included on this page can be used to help you learn more about these new laws.

Since you'll be using sources that are not part of the library's databases collection, you may want to consider using a reference management system like ZoteroBib to assist you with generating MLA citations.
