Choosing a Topic

These sources, in addition to your textbook, may help you to decide which neurotransmitter and what behavior you'd like to research. 

Though helpful for selecting a topic, they are not the kinds of sources you should be using for the literature review.

Finding Articles with Science Direct

ScienceDirect is a great place to find psychology articles, but it's not as user-friendly as some databases. This video will walk you thorugh the basics. Once the video is playing, click on it again to open it in a new window so you can see it better.

Evaluating Internet Sources

While books and articles have been though some evaluation, anyone can publish anything on the web. Ask yourself these questions before using a website for schoolwork.
