Why Should I Use This Database?

Here are a few reasons why the Gale eBooks database is a good place to start your research:

  • You can use Gale eBooks to gather background information on your topic, so if it's a topic that is new to you or unfamiliar to you, you can learn some general information about it before you begin doing more specific or focused research on your topic.

How to Use Gale eBooks to Find and Email Articles

Step 1. Type in essential keywords (e.g. stereotype threat).

Step 2. Scan the results.

 

Step 3. Click on a relevant article title (see titles highlighted in yellow). 
TIP:  Make sure to consider where the article is coming from to get a sense of the author(s)' point of view or lens.

Step 4. Send relevant articles to yourself via GoogleDrive, OneDrive, or Email.

Google Drive, OneDrive, and Email are listed as options to send the article to yourself.
